Business people :Footbalance Taps Ken Anderson to Develop Western Canada

Footbalance named Ken Anderson as its new sales representative in Western Canada, where he will be responsible for expanding the Footbalance dealer base within the Canadian territories of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Eastern British Columbia. In addition, one of his key initiatives is to make Footbalance a stronger player in the marketplace.

“I love the whole package with Footbalance,” says Ken Anderson. “The company fits in perfectly with the brands I represent and provides the final link for a retailer to provide comfort and fit to customers.”

Anderson comes to Footbalance with almost 30 years in the business as a sports sales representative and currently works with Atomic Skis, Felt Bicycles and various cycling accessory lines.

“I grew up in Calgary, Canada and competed to an international level in alpine skiing and cycling growing up,” says Ken Anderson. “This instilled within me a passion for anything outdoors and maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle. This passion brought me to Footbalance because I have seen firsthand how wearing custom footbeds can improve performance, overall body alignment and reduce the chance of stress injuries. I look forward to sharing that with people in my new role with the Footbalance team.”

With its North American Headquarters in Boulder, Colorado, Footbalance was developed by a Finnish physiotherapist specializing in podiatric medicine. The system enables the rapid production of fully customized footbeds at retail stores in less than ten minutes.
