New products ( Flash):Granite Gear Introduces New Pack Series at OR

Granite Gear will be introducing two new packs at the ORWM. The Athabasca 24 and the Kahiltna 29 represent a new series of full-featured technical hiking packs that can double as everyday working daypacks.Named after glaciers, which are the harbingers of climate change, they serve as a daily reminder to ride to work, walk to the store and unplug.

Both packs feature the new Vapor Daylight suspension system. The back panel is molded with air channels that vent heat away from the back and aid in evaporative cooling without moving the center of gravity away from the back for a super-stable carry.

The Athabasca is 24 liters and weighs 2lbs 1 oz; the Kahtilna is 29L, and also weighs 2lbs 1 oz. Both packs offer a variety of organization and gear carrying options. See them at booth 151.
