Business news :Boardworks Surf Moves International Headquarters

Boardworks Surf is moving their main offices and international headquarters from downtown Encinitas to a new, larger 15,000 sq. ft. location in Carlsbad, California. “We are sad to leave our funky beachside office. Early in 2012 we ran out of warehouse space, and started shipping all of our boards out of a separate warehouse in Carlsbad. Due to our rapid growth we have out-grown both locations.

Consolidating everything under one roof will allow us to be more efficient, inventory more products, and will give us some space for future growth,” says National Sales Manager Ryan Guay.

With the move Boardworks will more than double its office square footage, will have modern conference room, showroom, and individual offices for each department. The warehouse is being professionally laid out with custom racking, and streamlined shipping stations. “This is a great opportunity for us to modernize, gain efficiency and space, and reduce our overhead at the same time. “says Boardworks owner Mike Fox.

Boardworks will start moving inventory and offices on the 17^th of December.They will be closed for the

holiday Dec 24^th through Jan1st and will be fully operational out of the new Carlsbad location by January 2. The new address is 5925 Priestly Drive, Suite 120, Carlsbad, California 92008.  The phone number will remain the same : 760-722-8536.
